Material: plastic original Lehmann Made in Germany Background on the company Ernst Paul Lehmann Patent work: Together with Jean Eichner, Lehmann founded the Lehmann & Eichner tin toy factory in Brandenburg on September 1, 1881, which later became successful and internationally known under the company Ernst Paul Lehmann Patentwerk after initial difficulties. The company mainly produced mechanically movable objects such as airplanes, airships, cars and motorcycles, which were widely sold at the time due to their technological timeliness. A significant part of the production was exported. With an average of 600 to 800 employees, the company was at times one of the largest employers in the city. From 1900 to 1927, Ernst Paul Lehmann was active in municipal politics as a city councillor.
